    Lighting & Decor to Debut in January

    Scranton Gillette Communications (SGC) announced that its new brand, Lighting & Decor, will launch in January 2017 as a one-stop resource for readers. The debut issue will be handed out at the January Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas lighting and home furnishings markets. An evolution of the SGC award-winning brands, Home Fashion Forecast and its sister publication Residential LightingLighting & Decor builds on the legacy and respect that both brands generated during two decades of service to their respective markets. Lighting & Decor enters the $40 billion lighting and home decor market as the only one-stop shopping experience for the entire marketplace. It will be delivered as both a print and digital publication to a purchase-influencing audience of 40,000 lighting and home furnishings retailers, lighting designers, interior design firms, residential and commercial building and remodeling companies, and architecture firms, among others. Home Fashion Forecast’s fall issue will be its last. Home View, the quarterly digital supplement to Home Fashion Forecast, will continue to publish.     Fall 2016 #HPMkt: Calligaris

    Calligaris USA is gearing up for High Point Market, Oct. 22-26, with Nordic furnishings in lockstep with modern-minded Millennials’ design wants. The Igloo armchair, shown here in a golden yellow fabric and Optic White lacquer beech leg, is one example. It pairs with the new sheet glass-legged Opera sideboard — the Optic White lacquer accentuates the textured wood doors. Also shown: Apotema chenille-and-cotton Jacquard-woven area rug, which features a geometric pattern inspired by Japanese origami and a timely colorway of yellow, orange and rust.
